Help your organization’s participants navigate their journey on a successful career pathway.

Minnesota Opportunity Corps places AmeriCorps members who serve as support for participants and partnering organizations’ staff in community based organizations.  The focus of service is to make a difference in the lives of individuals with multiple barriers to employment, including retention and advancement, as well as economic self-sufficiency. Members help participants identify skills and explore additional training, education, and/or credentialing which will place them on a path towards a living-wage job.

The Minnesota Opportunity Corps serves the nine-county Metro area including: Anoka, Carver, Chisago, Dakota, Hennepin, Isanti, Ramsey, Scott and western Washington counties.
